Mike Newbold was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1977. Mike graduated from St. Louis University, cum laude, in 1973 and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1976. 

​

Mike's experience includes representing clients in state and federal courts and before federal, state and local administrative agencies. Mike also regularly advises clients in Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service audits.

Brad was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2003. Brad graduated from Tulane University in 2000 and the University of Iowa College of Law in 2003. Brad is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, New York and various federal district and bankruptcy courts. 

 

Brad represents clients in state and federal courts in withdrawal liability, delinquent contribution and benefit claims and advises clients on compliance with ERISA and other state and federal laws.

Simone was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2002. Simone graduated from Marquette University in 1996 and the Saint Louis University School of Law in 2001. 

 

Simone focuses her practice on advising clients on compliance matters including plan benefit design, ERISA and IRC compliance and litigation.

Mark has practiced law since 1995. Mark is a graduate of the University of Kansas and the University of Kansas School of Law.

Mark represents employee benefit plans and labor organizations. 

​

Mark also has experience with litigation of wage and hour claims and False Claims Act whistleblower claims.

Ryan primarily represents labor organizations and their related employee benefit plans.

Evan was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 2017 and the Missouri Bar in 2018. He joined the Firm in 2024.

Evan primarily represents labor organizations and their related employee benefit plans in subrogation and collection matters.

Kevin Miller was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2018. He joined the Firm in 2024.

Kevin advises employee benefit plans in compliance matters and represents labor organizations and employee benefit plans in litigation matters.

Collin Clibon was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2024. He joined the Firm in 2025.

Collin primarily represents labor organizations and their related employee benefit plans in litigation matters.

Abigail was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2025. She graduated from The George Washington University in 2021, and completed her JD/MBA from Emory Law and Goizueta Business School in 2025. She joined the Firm in 2025.

 

Abigail advises labor organizations and their related employee benefit plans on compliance matters.

Ryan Merrigan was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2009 and the Kansas Bar in 2010. He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a Master’s of Business Administration from Baker University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University-New Orleans. Ryan has been selected Super Lawyers Rising Star and Kansas City Business Journal Best of the Bar. He joined the Firm in 2025.
