Matthew J. McAndrews
Prior to joining Arnold, Newbold, Sollars & Hollins, P.C. in 2023, Matthew represented tenants in disputes related to landlord-tenant law, property law, and wills & estates. While practicing in these areas, he defended clients aggrieved by property owners’ breach of contract, misrepresentation, and fraud. He also assisted hundreds of tenants access Emergency Rent and Utility Assistance appropriated by local entities through federal law. Before practicing property and housing law, Matthew was a Lead Tax Analyst at a large corporation for five years. In that role, he advised tax professionals on all federal and state tax issues specializing in taxation of business organizations, non-profit organizations, property, and retirement funds.
Matthew graduated from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2018 where he was recognized on the Dean’s List and received high grade honors. In law school, he clerked for several local attorneys practicing in the fields of personal injury, business, and property law. Before law school in 2012, Matthew received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Missouri–Kansas City where he focused on production, design, and performance.
Matthew is a member of the Missouri bar, and he is licensed to practice law in Missouri’s state courts as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
